I know, I know, I know!
How is it possible to get any exercise when you are working 40+ hours a week, with a family, trying to see friends, trying to network or further your education to get to that next step in your career, and let’s not forget we still must sleep. While yes, getting any sort of exercise is hard, and seems to be the first part of a healthy lifestyle that seems to get thrown aside to make time for other things. I am here to tell you – YOU NEED TO EXERCISE – but it is not as hard as you might think!
- You can go for a walk at lunch. Take a quick break in the middle of the day, will help you get some sunlight, which helps in so many ways, it helps you get some movement, that blood flow is necessary, it also helps you get away from your desk to clear you mind and reset for the rest the day.
- A quick 5–30-minute workout in the morning before you get going. Waking up earlier, I know sounds horrible, but a workout in the morning will get your day off on the right foot, it releases endorphins to help put you in a more positive mindset, it also helps get your blood pumping and moving to help you wake up easier! And something I have found about morning workouts is there is less of a reason for me to come up with an excuse to not workout, so I will get my workout in for the day.
All you need to start with is 3 workouts a week
- 3 workouts a week is enough for your cardiovascular system to improve.
- 3 workouts a week will help with your confidence levels.
- 3 workouts a week will help with your endurance to push through your busy schedule.
